A Walk Through Autumn

The cool crisp air bites,
Stinging the faces and noses of walkers,
Biting,
Pinching,
Stabbing.

The wind swirls the colors,
The leaves
Round and round again.
Causing a pretty rainbow of colors to,
Cascade down and drift…

Red,
Orange,
Yellow,
Green,
All snapping and crunching under the soles of shoes!

Sweet scents of cloves,
And apples fill the breeze,
Forcing the mind to remember,
Remember,
A holiday spent with loved ones long ago.
Time spent raking,
Then jumping into leaves,
Enjoying the autumn again.

If only we could walk through autumn forever.
Had to write a poem on the fall for my LA Honors class...

I hate WRITING poetry, I'm really really bad at it. ><

:iconkaiyaotaku1: told me I HAD TO "PUT IT UP OR ELSE"

>< bleh
